Orlando Nerd Fest presents the FANTOKU music festival this weekend

This weekend, Orlando Nerd Fest returns with their first festival-style event since 2015, with FANTOKU: Fantasy Tokusatsu Nerd Fest. It’s a strange name for a show, but for those looking for a weekend of video game bands, nerdcore, geek rock, and chiptune, this show will feature a nice mix of establish acts and those looking to make a name for themselves.

FANTOKU will take place November 4th and 5th with music happening at The Geek Easy, and vendors and artist alley being held a few doors down at Campus Cards & Games 2. Both venues are right across the street from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL.

Saturday will feature The Returners, Sci-Fried, Roborob, Wreck the System, Marc with a C, MagiTek, and Nuclear Bubble Wrap. Sunday will have God of War composer Gerard Marino’s new project, GKMusique, plus Professor Shyguy, Ben Briggs, Skyblew, E-Turn, Symphonic Pheenix Force, and Dual Core.

On top of musical acts, vendors and artists, there will also be a Saturday costume contest and a Sunday late-night burlesque show with Shaken not Stirred Burlesque, as well as special guests Leva “Blue Pants” Bates, Pikabellechu, and Power Rangers’ Christopher Kayman Lee.

Tickets for each day of music at The Geek Easy start at $10 each or you can get the weekend pass for $20. Entry into the vendor space at Campus Cards and Games 2 is free. The Geek Easy is located at 114 S. Semoran Blvd. Winter Park, FL 32792.
