10 Cheap Eats Near Florida Supercon 2014

It’s less than a week until Florida Supercon 2014 (July 3-6) at the Miami Beach Convention Center! With this being the first year for Supercon at it’s brand new location I decided to take a look at some of the food options close to the convention. There will be plenty of food court areas and stations located throughout the Convention Center.

CENTERPLATE is the exclusive caterer for the Miami Beach Convention Center, a modern Art Deco gem, and as one of the nations premier caterers, we are constantly raising the bar of creativity.

Here’s a list of some of the food vendors that will be available during Florida Supercon 2014.

17th Street Grill, Buenos Aires, Top Dogs, LaVazaa Deli Cafe, Dip N Dots, Arepas, Lemonade & Pretzels, Chiliangos, Papa Johns, Haagen Daz, Papas Teppanyaki and more.

If you want some late-night options or if you just feel like getting some fresh air, I’ve picked 10 reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance (less than a mile) of the Convention Center. Avoiding any places that are too expensive (save your money for the con) and skipping the major chains (try something new). The majority of the restaurants are on or near Lincoln Road which is just South of the Convention Center. Lincoln Road and the surrounding area has plenty of dining choices besides what I’ve listed.

If there’s another restaurant you think we should try, let us know! We’ll be at Supercon all four days and we’ll be hungry too!
