Star Wars: The Phantom Menace 3D

Darth Maul 3D

Who is ready for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in 3D this weekend ? I know I am, I don’t think George Lucas has made a dime off of me in the past few years, so it’s about time I pony up and see what new tweaks he has added to an already pretty terrible movie. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a die-hard Star Wars fan since childhood. I mean I was just playing with my original Star Wars action figures the other night, yeah, I opened up my Darth Vader action figure carrying case and watched the figures pour out on to my bed, I was really tempted to pull the old AT-AT out of the closet, but I have to go through so much stuff to get at it, plus it seems so happy next to Pyramidus from the Power Rangers, anyway, next time I’ll have a battle with the AT-AT and my old Dagabah playset. In the meantime, maybe I’ll see you at the movies ?

Honestly I don’t get the interest in seeing this. I personally however blasphemous it is have never been big on Star Wars, but this re-release is just unnecessary. Quite frankly it’s a sign that George Lucas is laughing because he’s bound to make more millions off of something he already made millions off of. Oh well, if people are stupid enough to fall for it then he deserves their money.
