Check out the final covers for one of the best X-Men stories as of late.

If you didn’t read X-Men:Schism, then you shouldn’t call yourself an X-Men fan, Schism was the tops for X-Men this year. Five issues of Cyclops and Wolverine banter, trying to teach new mutant teens how to make it in the world and take out the bad guys at the same time.

Schism contains both some new and old characters that you will either love or hate, it brings to life the teen angst of one of Marvel Comics worst books, Generation Hope, and really shows you that these kids have heart and aren’t just always sitting around argueing about high school life and pouting about why they were born muties, instead we get to see that some of them can really kick ass, stand up for themselves and fight for what’s right.

I must say that the best part of Schism is the new Hellfire Club, who knew that a team of rich kids could really be so bad, infact to take out the original Hellfire Club, plus their families, and the X-Men. These kids did some great work and studied up on their enemies before the attack and took them out in a stratigic fashion, one right after the next. In the end Schism is a split of decisions, who stays who goes, and will Cyclops and Wolverine ever get along ? Plus the final battle, and the enemy are just too cool. Bravo!
