Orlando Overdrive Returns April 22nd, Voting For Lineup Open

On Saturday, April 22nd Orlando’s best and nerdiest take the stage for a night that puts the spotlight on Orlando-area video game bands, chiptune artists, nerdcore emcees, and geek rockers. Orlando Overdrive is a celebration of the city beautiful’s nerd music scene, featuring only Orlando-area performers instead of importing acts from elsewhere.

Last year was the first of its kind, featuring Random Encounter, EyeQ, NESkimos, Boy Without Batteries, Sci-Fried, Benjamin Briggs, Marc with a C, and Quartz Relic and was Orlando’s second-most attended nerd music show of 2015. This year’s lineup will be determined with a fan vote. There are seventeen acts to vote for and the top nine will perform at Orlando Overdrive. Voting ends on February 13th.

Orlando Overdrive is presented by Ongaku Overdrive. Tickets range from $10 to $15, BackBooth is located at 37 W. Pine Street, Orlando, FL 32801.
