From the folks behind Bocandy is Bojerky. A monthly jerky subscription service focused on independent craft jerky-makers from around the world. They offer two different sizes which are a half order that includes two flavors and a full order that is 4+ flavors. They also have gift and subscription options for 1 month ($30) or 6 months ($150).

Bojerky arrived in a small box that’s slightly larger than a VHS tape and features their logo sticker on the top.

Bojerky’s May box included jerky from Savage Jerky, Dave’s Meat & Nuts and Lawless Jerky.

From Venice, California is Dried and True’s All Natural jerky. Their original flavor is a mild jerky that has a light sweetness with hints of soy sauce.

From Napa, California comes a jerky with a hint sweetness from the Root Beer and a habanero kick that has a delay to it. I’ve had this before but it didn’t seem as spicy this time.

From Indio, California comes a jerky made from marinaded London Broil with a smokey flavor. This no-frills jerky is solid, you don’t always need a gimmick or a special flavor for great jerky.

IMG_20150727_140431Three very different flavors this month from Bojerky with the Online Exclusive smokey London Broil and the Artisan All-Natural original. The biggest hit though was the Rootbeer Habanero. I brought the bag of rootbeer to Magic the Gathering night with friends and it didn’t last very long.

If you’re a fan of jerky, you’ll probably be a big fan of Bojerky.
