IMG_20150504_131518Unless i’m mistaken Comic Bento was the first subscription box service to deliver a selection of graphic novels monthly. They have multiple subscription plans and every box includes at least $60 worth of books. Each month Comic Bento has a specific theme, with April being “Mix-Tape”. Which for comics translates to all the books are anthologies.

Comic Bento arrived in a large colorful box with their logo on the front.

Hardcover collection of monster stories including Mike Mignola’s Hellboy!

IMG_20150504_132525Comic Bento is a pretty solid value with four full-sized graphic novels for only $25 shipped including a beautiful hardcover. Those are the kind of prices you usually only find on the last day of a convention. I really like that they managed to keep to the “Mix-Tape” theme but still included a wide-variety of books.

If you want a themed-selection of graphic novels shipped to your house monthly, then you’re going to want Comic Bento.
