Quite the uplifting message.

Thin story, even for a fluff piece.

Marvel Comics
2016

A short one-shot sponsored by the Disney Child Life Council featuring the “Guardians of the Galaxy“.

Having become unlikely role models, The Guardians of the Galaxy take to this special edition comic to espouse the wonders of friendship and teamwork.

Five misfits who work best as one team tell us all about the strengths of unity. It’s a cute, and harmless want to get kids to read comics, and maybe learn a little lesson at the same time.

There’s not much substance here for anyone else, however. Even the obstacles they must overcome make little sense, and the real action ends as soon as it starts.

A cute book with a little lesson for the young ones, and one more check mark on some completionist list. Nothing else to see here.
