IMG_20141006_213513Horror Block is Nerd Block‘s horror-themed mystery box that every month includes a t-shirt and a selection of toys & collectibles.

The box is about the size of a large shoe box and features “bloody” packaging with “blood soaked” packing tape.

October’s Horror Block included a Reaction figure, Blu-Ray and a pretty awesome Jason Voorhees shirt. Let’s see the horror of this month’s box!

They definitely went Hannibal-heavy with this months box. The shirt of the month is Hannibal Lecter from the NBC show. Also included is a sheet of Hannibal stickers and a foam squishy squeeze heart.

One of the coolest things Horror Block has included yet… an actual film cell from the original Nightmare on Elm Street. Mine features an early look at Freddy Krueger himself.

NECA’s Scalers are small figures that clip onto a cord or thin cable. I’m a huge fan of Godzilla so I was pretty excited to see him included.

This month’s issue of Fangoria features an in-depth interview with Walking Dead star, Norman Reedus.

IMG_20141204_190519As usual, Horror Block is an impressive value. November’s box includes an estimated $90 worth of horror items! While the box was pretty heavy on Hannibal, it made up for it with the Elm Street film cell and the Godzilla scaler. If you love horror, you will love Horror Block.

In addition to the Horror Block, they also offer also Nerd Block Classic (“Comic Con in a box, plus a shirt, monthly!”), Nerd Block Jr. (“Awesome nerd gear for kids aged 6 to 11”) for boys and girls and the upcoming Arcade Block (video game mystery box).

Disclosure: A complimentary Horror Block Subscription Box was given for review purposes. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
