IMG_20150321_131800The Tiki Box is (the first?) Hawaiian snack subscription box. Al of the included candies and treats are authentic and shipped right from Hawaii to anywhere in the United States for $15 shipped.

The box looks small, slightly bigger than a VHS tape but has nice weight to it.

IMG_20150321_132255Glico Pretz Salad

The Pretz sticks are like Pocky but savory instead of sweet. These salad flavored sticks taste like garden chip without being salty.

IMG_20150321_132149Shelly Senbei Rice Crackers

Thick seaweed flavored rice crackers.

IMG_20150321_132214Beans Group Garlic Peas

Similar to the Wasabi peas but instead of being spicy they have a strong garlic flavor.

IMG_20150321_132129Hawaiian Sun Chocolate Macadamia Nut Clusters

Two large Macademia clusters surrounded by chocolate with a chewy center.

IMG_20150321_132234Hawaiin Host Maui Caramacs

Chopped up macadamia nuts mixed with caramel and covered in chocolate.

IMG_20150321_132349Mauna Loa Honey Roasted Macadamia Nuts

Quite possibly the best honey roasted nut I’ve ever had. Instead of being lightly brushed with honey roast they have a thick sweet coating.

IMG_20150321_132421Li Hing Mui Drops

I made the huge mistake of biting right into this. It’s a dried plum surrounded in a very salty but slightly sweet shell. It might not be bad if eaten slow but it was like biting into salt.

IMG_20150321_132313Diamond Bakery Lilikoi Creem Sandwich Crackers

Cookies with a soft creamy filling.

IMG_20150321_132449Hong Yuan Classic Guava Hard Candy

Sweet guava candies with a slight bite to them.

IMG_20150321_132724Overall this is a pretty fun box. 9 different treats, some full size some trial size but all authentic to Hawaii. While the amount of stuff included isn’t too large, it’s not a huge investment at only $15 a month.

If you’re interested in Hawaiian snacks or you’re from Hawaii and want a taste of home, i’d recommend getting Tiki Box.
